WHERE & HOW WE MET:
We met through a common friend, Mickey, at Alberto's house,Alex's brother. A few of us dropped by to invite Alex to go play pool with us, but he couldn't go. We didn't see each other for a couple of months. Later we met at Mickey's house, where we became more acquainted. From then on almost every Sunday, a few of the guys including Alex met to play baseball. My brothers, parents, and I would go along to play and cheer. We started to see more of each other and started dating as time passed by. The first time we went out, I will never forget. The night before I couldn't sleep thinking what was I going to wear to go out with him. It was late in the morning when he picked me up. We spent the entire day driving around Miami doing errands and getting to know each other a little more. Our first official date was on September 23, 1996. We officially became boyfriend and girlfriend on December 7, 1996.

ABOUT THE WEDDING:
We've decided to get married in Caracas, Venezuela on Saturday, May 19, 2001.
Our wedding ceremony will take place at La Iglesia de la Chinquinquira and the wedding reception at El Gran Melia de Caracas.
Our guests will receive a special rate at the hotel for accommodations.
